President of KCC, Safet Gërxhaliu

Born on 03.01.1964 in Studime të Poshtme – Vushtrri, completed studies at the University of Split Dubrovnik University in Dubrovnik -Faculty of Foreign Trade.

He holds two Master degrees from the University of Croatia in Zagreb - Faculty of Economics.
 The first one in international Marketing since 1993 – completed at Professor Jozo Previshic’s department. And the second one in Foreign Trade, completed in 2002 at the department of Professor Ivo Andrijanic.

After a long period of residence in Croatia and managerial positions in Germany, England, Spain and Belgium, he decided to return to Kosovo in late 2002.

He was employed in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Bajram Rexhepi as Deputy Coordinator of the Stability Pact which was engaged in many economic initiatives with regional and international character.
During this period he took part in very high level conferences, workshops, symposia in Kosovo and abroad.

Mr. Gërxhaliu is a member of negotiation team for Free Trade Agreements with Croatia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania, member of CEFTA Forum, Eurochambers, TAEX, BAC

He is a member of the Negotiating group with the Free Trade Agreements with Croatia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania, a member of CEFTA Forum, Eurochambers, TAEX, BAC within the Stability Pact for Southeastern Europe, SECIPRO, KOSPRO, etc.
