Decrease of car business

Difficult economic conditions, high prices, customs taxes and probate have depleted enormously car business in Kosovo. Traders says that this sector is decreasing in our country.

The opportunities for Kosovars to buy new cars have been reduced drastically, and it is not easy to see it in the car market in Prishtina. Comparing with last year it seems that this year the number of participants is not large as a year ago.

According to the traders, decrease of purchasing power is happening because of difficult economic conditions, but also because of high prices of the vehicles. They say that customs taxes and probate has effected in the prices of the vehicles.
