Kosova Chamber of Commerce and the Economy Faculty signed a Cooperation Memorandum

PRISTINA, 22. February 2010. - President of Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, Besim Beqaj and Dean of Faculty of Economics of the University of Prishtina Skender Ahmeti, signed today in Prishtina a Memorandum of Cooperation between these two institutions.

The President of KCC, Besim Beqaj said that such cooperation has existed well in advance but that is now formalized with the signing of the Memorandum.

 

"KCC has an interest that students that show good results on their studies, to take internship at KCC, so not only that but to recommend to its members to be employed in a long-term.


One of the field of cooperation is the exchange of information, cooperation in the field of publications, since we know that economic faculty is trying to access even in the research in this area and can use the capabilities that students and KCC have ", said President Beqaj.

 

Prof. Ass. Skender Ahmeti, dean of the Faculty of Economic, said that the interest of faculty is that good student, except that theoretical part that study inside the faculty, to learn also through KCC, through businesses that are members of the Chamber to create even the practical side in a near future so that they would not have any problems to adapt in the workplace.

 

"Another issue is the faculty initiative to establish a center for research in this direction and to jointly exploit the capacity of KCC and the faculty, to go forward in this direction. Our interest is especially good students to create space and we also found support of the Chamber, and i believe that we will find support from other government instituions or NGO, Dean Ahmeti ended.


So far, certain number of students with an average high grade in KCC, have committed practice, and recently a number of them with the mediation chamber is employed as the KCC as well as in other enterprises in Kosovo.
