Carrefour announced its expansion in the Balkans

France's supermarket chain "Carrefour" warned that plans to open supermarkets in the Balkans.

Representatives of the company for the Serbian newspaper "24 hours", stated that the leaders of the "Carrefour" have decided to establish joint company with the Greek company "Marinopulos" representing in Greece.

Company "Carrefour" is already 40 years old and at the moment is the biggest chain of supermarkets in Europe and second largest in the world, with 495,000 employees and 15,500 shops in 35 countries.
