World Bank has already launched Transitional Strategy World Bank Group for Kosovo 2010 - 2011, on a value of U.S. $ 87.5 million, of which there are two projects that relate directly to the Ministry of Public Administration.
The first project deals with the Public Sector Modernization and captures the value of 8 million dollars, which will be used to implement the Civil Service Law and the new wage system, the adoption of laws which is expected to become soon the Parliament. This will directly affect the Public Administration Reform.
Also, this grant will reflect in procurement and the creation of the Data Center. Meanwhile, the second project is RECAP, which has a value of 12.3 million dollars.
This project deals with Cadastre and consists of full regulation of Kosova cadastral system, capacity building, regulation of property rights registry, in developing and strengthening the legal framework and full functioning of the municipal cadastral offices.
At this meeting, Minister Bajrami thanked the World Bank for co-operation and support, considering this investing of BB very important for a new state, where the modernization of public administration is of special importance.
On his part, chief of the World Bank Office in Kosova, Ranjit Nayak, has expressed his satisfaction for the cooperation.
Minister Bajrami and Nayak at the end of the meeting have been pronounced for electronic and written media.
