KEK requires again to increase the price of electricity

The requirement of the Kosova Energy Corporation (KEK), to increase the electricity tariffs by 13 percent, was not approved by the Energy Regulatory Office (ERO), while KEK consigns that ERO will approve this requirement starting from the next month.


"KEK until 5 March 2010 will submit its comments with additional arguments for allowed incomes required in a value of 181 Million Euros and the tariffs to cover", said the spokesman of Kosova Energy Corporation (KEK), Viktor Buzhala. According to him , the Energy Regulatory Office has made only comment on the final application rate of KEK.


"KEK request goes to the benefit of consumers through further improvement of supply and capital investment which affects on quality improvements", said Buzhala.
