Turkey and Arab neighbors establishes the free trade zone

Turkey with its neighbors, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan reached the agreement to establish a free trade zone. The plan was published during the visit of ministers of Arab countries in Istanbul. The main purpose of this agreement is to strengthening the relations of Turkey with the region.


Despite the fast growing economy of Turkey, the trade relations of Turkey with the Arab world are a part of trade with the Europe. One of the characteristics of foreign policy of Turkey is to increase the Turkish companies and this is the reason why Prime Minister Erdogan during his visits always  is accompanied by the Turkish businessmen.
