In a press interview, the President of Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Safet Gërxhaliu, said that the key to the success of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce is the partnership and communication.

"I consider that all the problems facing the business should be told. We have a genuine partnership, which has only one goal, pushing the process of economic development of Kosovo. The business community has complained in an Administrative Instruction by MTPT, to stop driving the truck with high weight and through a close cooperation with the Ministry of Transport we have agreed that we have to minimize or to eliminate, "said Mr. Safet Gërxhaliu.

As far as fiscal cash, he said that KCC has had and has a positive approach. "We argued this way in the economic and political and KCC has always been against monopolies and will soon be debated directly with the Minister Mr. Shala to find a solution that will reduce the price impact of fiscal cash. All this proves that KCC was not supporting the process of specific companies or monopoly, "said Mr. Gërxhaliu.

Mr. Gërxhaliu said that the priority in Kosovo Chamber of Commerce is to protect business interests in promoting the values of Kosovo as a precondition of promoting investment in Kosovo, in support of NVM, investment in the education system or in vocational training and basic dedication in the beginning of the implementation of CEFTA agreement, which is a very important agreement.

On the other hand, about the resolution of CEFTA, Mr. Gërxhaliu said we're part of CEFTA 2006 Forum, which includes chambers of commerce of many countries, and there are is only an active voice but we prominence them. I believe that through lobbying and our commitment in this forum will be those that will ease the path of the institutions towards the implementation of CEFTA agreement. "Disrespect of the CEFTA agreement, Kosovo makes a country dependent on imports and this is the greatest misery that can happen to a country in a transitive economy. Who pays the highest price of non-compliance of this agreement is manufacturing sector, which in this trend has no prospects, "said Mr. Gërxhaliu.

On the other hand, he pointed that the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce will do everything to be more attractive to foreign investors and have more investments from abroad.

With the fact that we are not living in a favorable economic environment and the fact that reports from international institutions such as the World Bank has, make us to have a greater commitment. Kosova Chamber of Commerce supports the privatization of enterprises that create wealth and stability and not the privatization that will affect negatively in development of Kosovo.
